More than 60 different cone profiles were tested to achieve optimal on and off-axis response, resulting in immersive audio with a 170° beam width.
In this video, audio from the Eros Pro is captured using the onboard microphone of the Sony A7R2. The microphone was positioned 2 meters away from the speaker and the volume was set to 90dB at a 1-meter distance. Additionally, our Atlas Pro subwoofer is heard, providing bass frequencies below 150Hz.

During our testing, we immerse the Eros Pro in one meter of water. It should be noted, however, that the Eros Pro is not intended for underwater installation or operation.
Rigourous testing
We subject the Eros Pro to rigorous testing to ensure its durability under harsh conditions, including high temperature, water and dust ingress, and sonic accuracy testing.
High temperature
When testing high temperature we expose the Eros Pro to a temperature of 110 degrees Celsius for 12 hours while the speaker plays audio at maximum volume continuously. The outcome of this test shows that there are no changes in the speaker's appearance or sound quality.
Water and dust ingress
We test the Eros Pro's water and dust resistance (IP67) by submerging the speaker in one meter of water and playing audio at maximum volume for 30 minutes. The results show no water ingress or impact on the speaker's appearance or sound quality.
Sonic accuracy
Each Eros Pro produced undergoes individual testing in our acoustic testing chamber to ensure its sonic accuracy and consistency, as well as a thorough check for our high standards of craftsmanship before leaving our production facility.

The Eros Pro comes with a machined brass bracket that makes it easy to install on any external surface and allows for positioning of the speaker within a 360° semicircle.
